Neurogan Products
Overview
Neurogan is a wellness brand with deep roots in Denmark, specializing in premium CBD products. The company sought to establish a cohesive and visually appealing brand identity that would stand out in the competitive CBD market. My role was to craft a brand aesthetic that embraced the Danish "Hygge" lifestyle while ensuring that the product packaging and marketing assets communicated trust, quality, and wellness.
Goal
The objective was to develop a strong visual identity that could be applied across multiple product categories, initially starting with CBD oil tinctures and later expanding into CBD Gummies, Topicals, Edibles, Capsules, and Pet Products. Beyond packaging, the brand also required an engaging digital and print presence to enhance customer experience across platforms like Amazon, retail stores, and social media.
Role
As the lead designer, I was responsible for:
Label & Packaging Design: Creating product labels that align with the brand’s Scandinavian heritage.
Amazon 2.0 Images & Mockups: Designing high-quality visuals to boost conversions on Amazon.
Retail & Event Collateral: Designing print materials such as banners, store displays, flyers, and booklets.
Social Media Content: Establishing the brand’s Instagram presence and curating lifestyle imagery.
Photography & Creative Direction: Conducting product and lifestyle photoshoots, including specialized content featuring pets for their pet product line.
Project Execution
Branding & Packaging
Drawing from Danish minimalism, I crafted a clean and sophisticated packaging system that maintained consistency across different product lines. The labels featured:
Muted, natural color palettes that reinforced the brand’s organic and wellness-driven mission.
Simple, elegant typography that improved readability and reinforced a modern, high-end aesthetic.
High readability for product information, ensuring that customers could easily understand the benefits and ingredients.
Premium, tactile materials for an enhanced user experience, helping to establish trust and convey the brand’s commitment to quality.
Amazon Store & Digital Assets
Since Amazon was Neurogan’s primary sales channel, I developed optimized product imagery with:
Photorealistic mockups that showcased the product in an appealing and professional manner.
Informational graphics highlighting benefits and ingredients to educate consumers and build confidence in their purchases.
Lifestyle imagery to convey the product’s everyday use and appeal to target audiences looking for natural wellness solutions.
In addition to static images, we experimented with video content for Amazon product listings to further engage potential buyers and explain the benefits of specific CBD products.
Social Media & Content Creation
To establish brand recognition, I set up and curated the brand’s Instagram account, emphasizing:
High-quality product photography with a focus on natural aesthetics and real-life usage.
User engagement through aesthetically pleasing imagery and interactive content such as stories, polls, and Q&A sessions.
Lifestyle shots featuring models and pets to enhance relatability and humanize the brand.
Seasonal and promotional campaigns that aligned with product launches and key events in the wellness industry.
By creating a visually compelling feed, we were able to build a community of engaged followers and potential customers who connected with the brand’s message of holistic wellness.
Retail & Event Design
With Neurogan’s expansion into retail and events, I also worked on:
In-store displays that maintained brand consistency while attracting customer attention in retail locations.
Pamphlets and booklets that educated customers on CBD benefits and the science behind Neurogan’s products.
Event materials, including banners and branded merchandise, that reinforced brand recognition at industry expos and health-focused events.
Email Banners
To support Neurogan’s outreach and promotional campaigns, I designed a series of email banners tailored for different marketing objectives, such as:
