Beatrix Dance League 7
Beatrix Dance League 7, one of the most anticipated contemporary and hip-hop dance events in Skopje. My goal was to translate the festival’s dynamic, high-energy atmosphere into a visually striking and memorable introduction that would instantly engage the audience.
I led the concept development, design, and animation of the official opener and choreography video edits. The creative process began with defining a visual language inspired by the movement, rhythm, and fusion of urban and contemporary dance styles. Using Adobe Illustrator, I developed bold, expressive graphics with strong shapes, vibrant colors, and layered textures. These assets were then brought to life in After Effects through fluid transitions, rhythmic pacing, and choreography-inspired motion.
The final animation not only served as the event’s visual signature but also reinforced its brand identity across multiple touchpoints. It introduced a diverse program featuring world-class workshops, all-styles battles, crew showcases, and contemporary-urban performances, setting the tone for an immersive and unforgettable dance experience.
In addition to the intro animation, I also produced workshop recap videos highlighting sessions from the various international choreographers featured at the event. These videos captured the unique teaching styles, energy, and atmosphere of each class, serving both as promotional content and as a way to extend the event’s reach beyond the physical venue.
