Print & Merchandise
Print & Merchandise, part of the 242.group, is a leading provider of promotional material and branded merchandise. The company helps clients transform events, expos, and corporate initiatives into immersive brand experiences by offering everything from logistics and event planning to custom-branded items.
The Challenge
Despite offering a broad set of services, Print & Merchandise’s visual identity felt outdated and inconsistent across platforms. Their website and marketing materials lacked cohesion, and their brand presentation did not fully reflect the creativity, scale, and professionalism of their work. As they continued to grow within the events and merchandise industry, it became clear they needed a stronger, more unified brand identity to match their ambitions.
The Solution
Working in close collaboration with the client through several workshops and feedback sessions, I redesigned and updated the visual identity to better reflect their positioning. This collaborative approach ensured that the guidelines not only expressed the creative vision but also aligned with the client’s values and future business goals.
The final Brand Guidelines provide a clear framework for consistency and scalability across all brand touchpoints. Key components include:
Logo System:
A modern logomark and wordmark combination, with alternative versions and monograms for flexible application. Clear rules on sizing, spacing, and misuse safeguard the integrity of the logo.

Color Palette:
A vibrant yet professional palette of Dark Blue, Light Blue, White, and Black, supported by secondary accent colors such as Summer Yellow, Light Purple, and Rich Lime. These ensure versatility across both corporate and playful brand contexts.

Typography:
The Gilroy typeface family was chosen for its clean, contemporary feel and versatility.
Defined type scales and weights create consistency across print and digital use.

Applications:
Guidance on placement, social media adaptation, and marketing collateral ensures the brand can scale smoothly across merchandise, events, and digital platforms.

The Outcome
Through a collaborative redesign process, Print & Merchandise now has a refreshed and consistent identity that reflects their creativity and professionalism. The updated brand positions them as a professional yet approachable partner in the events and merchandise space. With clear guidelines, the company can maintain consistency across campaigns, boost brand recognition, and build trust with clients. Once fully implemented, the refreshed identity will elevate their website, marketing assets, and client communications — allowing them to stand out in a competitive market.
